New Features
- Table Designer – New Experience: A new table design experience can now be utilized, allowing users to view and interact with a preview of their table before inserting it into the document. This experience can be activated by disabling the Use Legacy Table Form setting under Setting -> Application -> Behavior.
- Template Explorer – Template Checker: The Template Checker allows users to verify if their template is valid for merging. If the template is not valid, a message will be displayed in the Template Explorer. This can be useful for catching template errors early.
- Template Settings – Application: The user now has the ability to adjust how their privileges are checked. From a dropdown selection, the user can select one from the following three options:
- Default: Faster query time, but less detailed loading feedback
- Legacy: Longer query time, but more detailed loading feedback
- No Check: Permission checks are not enforced. However, if the user does not have the required permissions, unexpected behavior may occur.
- Inspections – Image: Added a new “Image” type Inspection field
General Updates/Improvements
- Template Designer:
- Added company name to the Template Designer’s footer.
- Minor UI improvements
- Condition Designer:
- Renamed the “Delete” button to “Delete All”
- Sample data will now also be displayed when navigating field dropdown
- Connection Dialog: When a connection is successful, a dialog now appears indicating that the connection was a success.
- Adjusted how AutoMergeWorkingItems are updated.
- Added an error message to inform users when a template cannot be converted due to a missing entity.
- Updated the welcome page’s images and name of add-in (DCP Template Designer -> DCP Layout Designer)
- Adjusted some icon URLs.
Bug Fixes
- Template Designer:
- Fixed an issue where the Template Designer taskpane did not update after changing connections.
- Fixed an inconsistency in the taskpane’s title.
- Fixed an issue where inserting a field would fail and erroneously indicate to the user that the service is not running.
- Settings:
- Fixed an issue where the predefined relationships would not be listed after being redirected to Settings once connected to an environment.
- Template Settings:
- Document Properties: Fixed an issue where document properties were not being concatenated.
- Document Name: Fixed an issue where the defined pattern would not properly update in certain circumstances.
- Connection Dialog:
- Fixed an issue where, if connecting to an environment fails, the “Change connection” and “Cancel” buttons do not do anything when clicked.
- Fixed an issue where Microsoft Cloud Defender was preventing the user from connecting.
- Fixed an issue where the connection dialog did not always close after successfully creating a connection.
- Fixed an issue where the user was able to switch to a different tab while connecting.
- Condition Properties: Fixed an issue where certain properties could still be changed after merging.
- Create Document: Fixed an issue where the record selection appears again after beginning the merge process.
- Save/Open Template: Fixed an issue where a template would not save properly, causing an error to occur when opening the template later.
- Picture Field: Fixed an issue where inserting a picture field in a header would cause an error to occur in the Template Designer.
- Picture Link/QR Code Field: Fixed an issue where a specific property would not be added to the field(s).
- Create Document: Fixed an issue where a UI element did not appear after selecting a record.
- Sample Data:
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to set sample data in the taskpane.
- Fixed na issue where it was not possible to set sample data in the application settings
- Fixed an issue where record push requests were not working in some circumstances.
- Fixed various typos and German translation errors.
